New York, NY: The 26th Annual Eithne & Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Golf Tournament took place on Monday, May 13th, 2019 at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club, one of the country’s most prestigious and attractive golf courses, located in Scarborough, NY.
The Eithne & Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund was created in honor of John Fitzpatrick’s late parents back in 1993. Their mission was – and still is – to help deserving charities and service projects back home in Ireland and here in the United States.
To date, the Fund has worked together to raise money for worthy causes like the Barretstown Camp (for seriously ill children and their families), the Integrated Education Fund, the New York Irish Center, the O’Hanlon Park Boxing Club in Dundalk, Barnardos, the Irish Arts Center and many more.
Irish Golf Pro Eamonn Darcy, a four-time winner on the European Tour, attended the event, along with notable Irish football manager Mick McCarthy and Irish football legend, Robbie Keane.
During this year’s event, the amount raised was record breaking, bringing the total amount raised to date to over $4.5 million dollars.
