provides a unique on-site program through a fun, activity based process of challenge, success, reflection and discovery – supported by medical professionals – which helps children affected by cancer and other serious illness regain their confidence, independence and self esteem. This program is internationally recognized as having a profound and positive impact on their lives.
Current Projects: The Eithne & Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund recently engaged in a five year commitment with Barretstown to sponsor the Outdoor Activity and Dining Area of the camps new Dining Hall.
Past Projects: The Memorial Fund has been involved in a number of projects over the years including the purchase of two MPVs to transport the kids and their families, the refurbishment and operation of the Nature Room and Crèche, the child sponsorship program, the development of the Quiet Room in the new Multipurpose Activity Center, the building of the children’s cottage and an outdoor theatre, to name a few.
